British Science Week took place nationally from 13th – 22nd March. King Richard School Science Department fully emerged themselves in this. Various assemblies were run by the staff from NATS – the UK’s leading provider of air traffic control services and all year groups were mesmerised in a ‘Magic of Science’ show by the amazing Ian B. Dunne. Year 7 and 8 then spent their time in lessons producing their own indicators from red cabbage and made colour changing drinks, whilst Year 9 and 10 used the skill of forensic science to solve a ‘horrific’ crime. Thank you to all those involved in making it an enjoyable and exciting week in Science.
