Important  Message To All Year 11 Students…

We are now getting to the important part of the year for all Year 11 students.

Every year, on results day, students across the country consider their final grades. Most will celebrate, but some will think, “I wish I’d put a bit more effort in”. My message to current Year 11 students is clear – Don’t be one of those students!

You can still improve on your current grades.  Effort, hard work and practice will make a difference, and the time to start is now.  Remember the grades you get will determine your next steps and good grades will ensure you get on to your chosen college course or apprenticeship.  That has got to be worth working for.

You should be aiming to do two hours of extra work per night.  A good way to do this is to draw up a revision timetable to help you plan your time effectively.

Remember the teachers here at King Richard are always available to help. You must use their expertise and experience.  Every subject teacher is setting revision, so ask if in doubt.

This final push is an essential part of securing great results – great results that will shape the rest of your life.
