Hythe Geography Field Trip
Late in October Year 9 Geographers visited Hythe and Southampton to investigate the multi-uses of the coast around Southampton Water. Despite some atrocious weather, students diligently completed land use assessments and visitor surveys to support classroom based learning. I was stopped several times by people remarking on how polite and engaging our students were, and how well they had explained their studies and reasons for visiting Hythe. Well done to all the Yr 9 Geographers for successfully tackling their first major fieldwork.
