Priority School building programme

Following the ending of the building schools for the future programme in 2011 King Richard was pleased to be nominated for its successor programme – the Priority Schools Building programme.  The money direct from central government provides for the rebuilding or refurbishment of schools in the most need of modernisation.  The school has been allocated £9 million pounds and the feasibility work for the project will begin in the Autumn of 2014.  There is tremendous potential to create fantastic new learning spaces and it will be fascinating to see what the architects can come up with.
