Summer Term Events

In order to celebrate the success of our students over the past academic year together with the 100th Anniversary of World War One I would like to make you aware of a number of events being held between now and the end of the Summer term.  Dates for your diary are:

23 June Art Exhibition 4.00 – 7.30 pm, Hillside & Wymering Community Centre

Exhibition of Yr 11 students’ art work.  Also on display will be art work by a number of King Richard staff who had the brief “to create a postcard which shows an interest that you have or a little bit about what is important in your life whether it be your favourite football team, your cat, family, dancing, world war 2, canoeing or taxidermy”.

2 July Lest We Forget2.00 – 6.00 pm, King Richard School

First World War Commemoration – Lest We Forget Exhibition and Community Project for the local area.

9 & 10 July Arts Showcase Event7.00 pm, King Richard School

The evening will include a range of performances in dance, drama and music as well as an exhibition of work from students studying art and media studies. The work in the showcase will include that from Key Stage 3 and 4 students and is an opportunity to see the high standards achieved and the emerging talent in a range of different subjects.
